About Us

Where does magic come from? For some it doesn’t exist. For us, we know that it exists in the power the founders we back have to build amazing things. For that, we have to run, learn, correct and grow since day one… And we are still getting better each time.

2014 - Orion Startups was born from the coordinated efforts of Dr. Antonio Ríos and Ing. Luis Almanza; visionaries driven to help Chihuahua's tech sector.

2015 - Our first-ever acceleration batch was run with 5 startups which received our very first program and 150+ K USD.

2016 - An EdTech special acceleration batch was run in conjunction with Tec Labs, cementing an even stronger relationship with Tec de Monterrey.

Today - 25 Startups have been accelerated and are now part of our portfolio.
