I am Nazar Podolchak, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Administrative and Financial Management at the Institute of Administration, Public Administration, and Professional Development of Lviv Polytechnic National University. I have over 25 years of experience in education, science, management, and innovative entrepreneurship. Under my academic supervision, 5 doctoral and 17 PhD dissertations have been defended. I have completed internships at leading global universities, including Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Duke University, the University of Vienna, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Texas, as well as professional training in the UK at the company "Fuchs Lubricants" PLC.
I am the founder and head of Tech StartUp School — an educational and innovation environment at Lviv Polytechnic, within which we have implemented over 50 projects in the fields of startups, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation. Since [PHONE REMOVED], I have also been the director of the SID CITY Science Park — a technology transfer center that brings together science, business, and industry. The park was established in partnership with SoftServe and other market leaders and actively implements projects under the HORIZON and EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) programs.
Throughout my career, I have served as an expert for the Times Higher Education and QS World University Rankings, chair of a specialized academic council, and a member of the Advisory Board of EIT Ukraine. I have been honored with numerous awards, including honorary diplomas from the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as the "Excellence in Education" badge. My calling is to develop the innovation economy, support entrepreneurship, shape strategic vision for higher education, and promote the integration of Ukrainian science into the global space.
