Hello, I'm LeeOlive Tucker, an American jazz vocalist, educator, actress, songwriter, and mentor. In New York City, I'm affectionately known as the "Jazz Diva." My musical repertoire spans genres including gospel, jazz, blues, and freedom songs.

Throughout my career, I've collaborated with numerous arts and entertainment groups, organizations, and venues across the New York City area. Notably, I've been involved with esteemed organizations such as Jazzmobile, Harlem Arts Alliance, New Amsterdam Musical Association, New Heritage Theatre Group—one of the city's oldest African American performance groups—and Harlem Opera Theater. Additionally, I had the pleasure of living and performing on St. Thomas in the West Indies.

As a native New Yorker with deep roots in Harlem, I come from a richly musical family. My father was a jazz artist, and my daughter continues the tradition as a singer, making us three generations of vocalists. Growing up surrounded by music and Harlem's vibrant culture has profoundly shaped my artistic journey.

I'm passionate about singing conscious civil rights music, blues, smooth bossa novas, and various styles of jazz, soul, and pop. You might find me performing at Sunday morning gospel brunches or delivering jazz and blues sets in the evenings. My approach is deeply personal; I aim to connect with my audience so that when you hear me sing, you feel as though you know me, experiencing my life through my performances.

I'm also a dedicated supporter of the arts, actively participating in and contributing to the cultural fabric of Harlem. My life and work stand as a testament to Harlem's cultural greatness, embodying its rich history and vibrant artistic scene.
