About us
TheFactory was started in 2016 by Norwegian serial entrepreneurs, and has since accelerated more than 300 startups and invested in a portfolio of 50+ fast growing companies. TheFactory has been Awarded Best Accelerator Program in the Nordics by Global Startup Awards.
TheFactory´s motto is Founders First, and although we are a factory, we act more like a family. A family of startups and scaleups, innovation partners, mentors and investors. We are strong facilitators of collaboration and believe in co-creation and innovation through partnerships between our startups and corporations.
At TheFactory, founders get the best start possible through our Accelerator Programs, first investments through our Seed Fund TheFactory Capital, and services and continued support through our membership community TheFactory Growth. TheFactory is all about inclusion and diversity, as reflected by our team, our board of directors and our family of founders.

Who Are We and Why Are We Investing in Startups?
TheFactory is the largest Nordic Accelerator, and the most exciting place to be for entrepreneurs in the Norwegian startup scene. At TheFactory we cooperate closely with the Nordic & Global Startup Eco-system, and we collaborate with the Fintech & Proptech eco-system in order to create great opportunities across the borders for our startups. We were incorporated in 2015 under the name Qapital AS and FintechFactory, but changed into TheFactory in 2017.
Throughout our programs, the entrepreneurs will be connected with great business mentors, market experts from different verticals, but most importantly a systematic connections with seasoned entrepreneurs and investors to accelerate your business. The programs takes place in modern office facilities at TheFactory, located in the middle of the city center of Oslo.
